MMA reality TV stars to meet at ROAD FC 52 – Asia MMA






Kim Seung-Yeon defeated Alexander Merezhko in a reserve match for the $1 Million Lightweight Tournament.

An unlikely bout between two former MMA reality TV stars has been added to ROAD FC 52 next month.

After coming second on ROAD FC’s reality TV show Fearless Guys, Ki No-Joo will make his ROAD FC debut against Kim Seung-Yeon. Kim, a former contender on the ROAD FC $1 Million Lightweight Tournament, returns from injury.

In a reserve match for the $1 Million Lightweight Tournament, Kim defeated a very tough Alexander Merezhko via TKO, but sustained a fracture at the base of his thumb which needed surgery.

Kim is no stranger to the world of Korean TV. He won Season 3 of rival TV show Crying Fist. The pair a set to meet at ROAD FC 52, which takes place at the Jangchung Arena in Seoul on 23 February.

Also announced for ROAD FC 52 is the $1 Million Lightweight Tournament finals. Shamil Zavurov and Mansour Barnaoui will clash for a shot at reigning lightweight champion Kwon A-Sol and the US$1 million prize.
