Winter season is practically here and that has us thinking of another kind of season, one where no puffy coats are needed–hotel cabana season.
Kicking off the season of private poolside enclaves is the St. Regis Bal Harbour in Miami, who has partnered with the high-end fashion boutique The Webster to create a special Webster Cabana for the hotel. Conveniently, The Webster has a store in the Shops at Bal Harbour.
You may also remember The Webster from their summer collection for Target. Now, Laure Heriard Dubreuil, CEO and Co-Founder of The Webster, has filled the 600-sq.ft. St. Regis cabana with her signature style, which is “Luxe Miami” all the way.

Finalmente! The Hilton Cabana Miami Beach has officially opened.
The beachfront property on (way north) Collins Ave was set to open in December but that was quickly pushed off until March. Then we sort of lost track. But now we’ve got word that it’s really open.
The 10-story Art Deco building has 231 guest rooms and suites spread out over Cabana-style buildings, hence the hotel name. Most of the rooms will have balconies from which you can gaze at either the sea or the pool. We dig the orange stripes and the cheeky photograph of two ladies fishing.)

As we told you last fall, the Cabana Bay Beach Resort at Universal Studios would be opening on March 31st and today, the property lived up to its promise as the resort’s first guests began checking in.
You can learn more about what the guest rooms have to offer here but for now, check out this dive tower water slide that drops you out into the 10,000-sq.ft. zero entry pool in the Cabana Courtyard (“Castaway” is the name of one of the guest room towers.)
The hotel will also unveil a lazy river experience, a first for the Universal Orlando Resort hotels, on June 16th (along with Hideaway Bar and Grill, the Tower family suites
